While internet is a very expensive product still in South Africa, we have designed ways to economise connectivity costs. Our goal is to find ways to save you money in some areas, enabling you to buy connectivity in others.
Providing truly unshared and uncapped bandwidth is possible, but it comes at a cost. Attempts are made using broadband techniques to try to split those costs between multiple users, while still trying to provide the full services. The larger the network becomes, the easier it is to providfe this.
However, it still falls to us to have some restraints in place for excessive users that may inadvertantly hog the bandwidth and defeat the techniques we have in place to provide this service.
Based purely on what it costs us, we have determined a Fair Usage Policy. The policy is designe to ensure our suvivability in this industry while at the same time providing a good open service to our clients.
These policies are being developed as we go along, and will change from time to time, depending on the avialability of bandwidth and the cost of it.
