Vlocity has its own private wireless network in the major metropolitan areas. VPN Connections in these areas are costed on a Fixed rate per month for each link into the Vlocity MPLS. These are Local VPN Links and comprise of Contended or Uncontended VPN Links - All local to the Specific Regional Area.
Links accross two or more areas are subject to additional costs from the MPLS Cloud in one region to the MPLS Cloud of another.
Links accross regions can come in via IP-Connect and ADSL as well as other network providers like 3G - Vodacom etc. These links can be combined and concentrated to say a branch Head Office in one of the major Vlocity Metropolitan areas.
A Costing from one region to another would include the Local VPN Cost in region1 Plus the National VPN Cost Plus the Local VPN Cost in region 2.
Internet breakout is preferable to be provided in each specific Region, to reduce cost and size of the National Links.
VOIP Is also provided directly from each Region, further reducing the requirement for National VPN.
